Nesta segunda – feira (22), os alunos do 7° ano da disciplina de Artes participaram de uma aula especial sobre fotografia. Com o tema “Fotografia: a luz na fotografia”, a aula teve como objetivo ensinar como a luz é fundamental para uma boa foto. A fotografia é uma linguagem que está em constante diálogo com as artes plásticas e a pintura principalmente. Na aula desta semana, trabalhamos as questões voltadas ao olho humano, o olhar e a luz. Já desenvolvemos a parte da história da fotografia e a relação entre a fotografia e o Impressionismo”. A professora Marta Mencarini foi a responsável pela aula. Ela é artista plástica e mestre em Arte e Tecnologia pela Universidade de Brasília. Segundo ela, as aulas práticas são muito importantes para o amadurecimento do conteúdo teórico. “Quando o estudante coloca em prática ele consegue compreender as dinâmicas e aplicar o conhecimento”. Para a aluna Sarah Marcela Coelho Miguel, a aula foi muito produtiva. “Eu acho que a aula foi bem dinâmica. A gente fez exercícios para saber como a sombra muda de acordo com o movimento da luz e como altera a cor da foto. A disciplina é bem legal e a professora Marta consegue fazer a turma interagir. Ela traz sempre algo, alguma música ou vídeo para mostrar para a gente”, disse.

The part about students moving the light to watch shadows shift is the strongest idea here, since it turns an abstract concept into something physical. One practical addition: have each student photograph the same object three times with the light at roughly 45 degrees, side-on, and from behind, then compare the three images side by side and name which one shows the object’s shape most clearly. That gives the shadow exercise a concrete conclusion instead of just observation.
